What Is Juvederm?

Juvederm Ultra Plus has a thicker consistency than Juvederm Ultra, which is ideal for filling deeper lines. This is a great product for treating deeper nasolabial folds and for restoring volume to hollow areas.
Volbella has a very soft gel consistency that is commonly used for lip augmentation. It volumizes the lips and can also reduce smoker’s lines around the lips.
Vollure is used to smooth away moderate and severe lines and wrinkles such as the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and parentheses lines around the mouth.
Voluma is a thick structural gel that lifts the cheek area to reduce hollowness in the midface region. This restores youthful fullness to the cheeks.
Ideal Candidates
Juvederm injections are suitable for men and women who are looking to address signs of aging, such as moderate and severe wrinkles and volume loss, without undergoing surgery.
If you have a history of severe allergies or are pregnant or nursing, then you may be recommended for other treatment options. Since the formula contains lidocaine, it cannot be administered if you are allergic to this substance.

The Treatment Session

Aftercare
There is no significant downtime or recovery period necessary after Juvederm injections. There may be swelling, redness, or tenderness on the treated areas, but these should disappear shortly. There is possibility of bruising, but this can usually be concealed with makeup.
Avoid touching and rubbing the treated areas for the first few days until the fillers have settled into place. Stay away from intense heat or strenuous exercise.
