Nursing Care
The requirements for overnight nursing care or staying at an aftercare facility depend on the surgical procedure performed. If it is recommended you have post-operative nursing care or stay in an aftercare facility, it is typically for 1 night following surgery. All nursing staff are specifically trained in post-operative recovery care and are familiar with your post-surgical protocols for medication, meals, treatments, and activity restrictions.
Care & Recover
Care & Recover offers one-on-one luxury post-operative care and concierge services by providing skilled nursing care in the comfort of your own home or hotel of your choice. Their team of nurses specialize in plastic surgery and elective surgery recovery. All patients will be assigned a private, licensed nurse that focuses exclusively on them. All nursing packages include a private duty nurse that will handle all necessary post-surgical protocols during your recovery process, transportation after surgery and to your follow up visit, and assistance with dressing, errands, meal preparation and light housekeeping. Care & Recover offers hourly in-home nursing and are also affiliated with 5-star hotels in the area if assistance with outside accommodations is desired as well. Their team members will help you coordinate your nursing care and are able to assist you with booking the best hotel that fits your needs.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can help speed up a patient’s recovery when performed before and after most cosmetic surgery procedures. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing a high concentration of oxygen while inside of a pressurized chamber. This increases the oxygen concentration in all of your body’s tissues and stimulates the growth of new blood vessels that assist in bringing more oxygen to the cells of any injured tissues. This process accelerates wound healing and leads to a faster recovery with a reduction in bruising, swelling, redness, pain, as well as decreased risk of infection at the incision site due to its anti-bacterial effects. Hyperbaric chamber therapy may be recommended following surgery on a case by case basis or may be requested in advance of a patient’s surgery.
